Role Summary The Accountant (Senior Business Manager/Business Unit Head) will oversee the financial management and operational performance of assigned business units. The role is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, strategic planning, cost optimization and leading the finance function to support business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports. Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial planning. Ensure compliance with tax, statutory and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate accounting records, including receivables, payables and inventory. Implement financial controls and identify cost-saving opportunities. Support business planning, financial analysis and decision-making. Coordinate audits and implement audit recommendations. Lead and develop the finance team while collaborating with other departments. Monitor business unit performance and provide financial insights to management. Manage relationships with financial institutions, suppliers and regulators.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. ICAN or equivalent professional certification is an advantage. 4–7 years’ accounting or financial management experience, preferably within agribusiness or FMCG. Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP or similar ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel. Strong financial reporting, analytical, budgeting and problem-solving skills.
