About the Role We are seeking a versatile and proactive Legal Officer to manage our legal operations, support corporate growth, and safeguard our business interests. In this role, you will work closely with executive leadership, supporting commercial deals, strategic partnerships, fundraising efforts, and overall regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities l Commercial & Strategic Partnerships: Support business development initiatives, structure strategic partnerships, and drive commercial negotiations Contracts & Agreements: Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts, co-production deals, and distribution agreements. l Intellectual Property & Licensing: Oversee IP portfolio management, licensing administration, and brand protection. l Investor & Fundraising Support: Draft and manage investor agreements, term sheets, and fundraising documentation. l Corporate Governance: Assist with board matters, entity management, minute-taking, and corporate record compliance. l Regulatory & Compliance: Coordinate compliance frameworks, monitor regulatory updates, and manage internal risk mitigation.

Key Requirements l Qualifications: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.); active license to practice law in good standing. l Experience: 3–5+ years of relevant legal experience (in-house or top-tier law firm), with strong commercial contract experience. l Skills: Excellent negotiation, contract drafting, and communication skills; strong understanding of corporate law, IP, and licensing. l Attributes: High attention to detail, business acumen, and ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.
