StaggaPay is seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager – Finance & Accounts to oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, lending portfolio accounting, tax compliance, and financial controls within our growing fintech/asset finance business.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS, particularly IFRS9.
• Manage month-end closing, General Ledger, and bank/wallet/payment gateway reconciliations.
• Oversee accounting for the company's motorcycle and tricycle lending/asset finance portfolio.
• Monitor loan portfolio performance, impairments, and interest income recognition.
• Ensure accurate integration and reconciliation between Mambu, Basikon, and accounting systems.
• Manage FIRS/LIRS statutory tax filings, including PAYE, WHT, and VAT.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors and tax consultants.
• Ensure compliance with relevant Nigerian financial and data protection regulations.

• B.Sc. in Accounting or a related discipline from a recognised university.
• ICAN membership/Chartered Accountant qualification is mandatory; ACCA is an added advantage.
• 5–7 years' post-NYSC accounting experience, with at least 3 years in fintech, lending, MFB, digital banking, or asset finance.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations (FIRS/LIRS) and relevant CBN reporting requirements.
• Strong understanding of IFRS 9, loan accounting, impairment, and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP experience (Sage, Zoho Books, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
• Experience with Mambu or Basikon is a significant advantage.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, reporting, compliance, and problem-solving skills.
