You will be our first Business Development Lead, reporting directly to the founder.

• You will turn pilots into paying customers, close warm opportunities and open new relationships across banks, fintechs, payment service providers and microfinance banks
• What you will do
• Convert active pilots into signed annual contracts
• ⁠Open doors with compliance officers, heads of risk and CTOs
• ⁠Run discovery and demo meetings alongside the founder
• ⁠Own the pipeline from first conversation to signed contract
• ⁠Work from a focused target account list
• ⁠Feed market and customer insight back to the product team

• 5 or more years in B2B sales or business development, including at least 2 years selling to Nigerian banks, fintechs or payment companie.
• Active relationships inside Nigerian banks, fintechs or payment companies
• ⁠A track record of closing B2B deals, ideally SaaS, regtech or fintech infrastructure
• ⁠Experience taking customers from pilot or trial to paid contract
• ⁠Comfort speaking credibly with compliance and risk leaders
• ⁠Self-directed, fast-moving and comfortable in an early-stage company
