We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the organization’s day-to-day operations and drive safe, efficient, scalable and high-quality diagnostic services across multiple centers.

Responsibilities
- Translate corporate strategy into annual operating plans, centre targets and service standards.
- Oversee multi-center operations, service delivery, patient experience and operational efficiency.
- Drive quality management, regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness and CAPA closure.
- Improve turnaround times, patient waiting times and complaint resolution.
- Manage budgets, operating costs, working capital and capital expenditure.
- Drive commercial growth through partnerships, payer/corporate-client models, new services and center expansion.
- Lead workforce planning, performance management, leadership development and succession.
- Oversee technology, data, laboratory/radiology/ERP/CRM systems and reporting dashboards.
- Ensure equipment uptime, preventive maintenance, inventory availability and supply-chain efficiency.
- Maintain risk management, HSE, business continuity, data privacy and regulatory compliance.
- Provide regular operational and performance reports to the GCEO and Board.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Medicine, Laboratory Science, Engineering, Finance or a related field.
- Postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- 12–15+ years of progressive operational leadership experience with at least 5 years managing multiple sites, functions or a substantial business unit.
- Experience in diagnostics, healthcare or another regulated service environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality management, patient safety, regulatory compliance and process improvement.
- Proven experience improving operational efficiency, turnaround time, customer experience, productivity and cost management.
- Strong commercial, financial, strategic and people-management skills.
- High integrity, executive presence and strong decision-making ability.
Key Performance Areas
Success will be measured against revenue and operating-margin delivery, cost control, turnaround time, patient experience, equipment uptime, quality and CAPA compliance, regulatory/HSE compliance, workforce productivity, strategic milestones and commercial growth.
