• IT Audit Execution: Lead risk-based audits of core banking systems, IT General Controls (ITGC), automated application controls, and emerging digital channels.
• Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Assessment: Evaluate network architectures, firewall configurations, vulnerability assessments, and database security to safeguard against cyber threats.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure bank-wide adherence to CBN technology risk management frameworks, data protection mandates, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Business Continuity Review: Assess the resilience of Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP) to ensure seamless operations during disruptions.
• Audit Reporting & Follow-Up: Produce comprehensive audit reports with actionable insights for executive management and track the timely remediation of identified control gaps.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Mandatory Certification: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is compulsory. (Additional certifications such as CISM, CISSP, or CRISC are a strong advantage).
• Experience: Minimum of 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in IT audit, information security, or risk management within the banking or financial services sector.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep working knowledge of COBIT, ISO 27001 standards, core banking software architectures, and Computer-Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs).
• Competencies: Exceptional analytical reasoning, strong professional ethics, excellent report-writing capabilities, and sharp attention to detail.
