We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Senior Accountant to join our team . The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing our accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial records, strengthening internal controls, and providing timely financial reports and insights.

• Review and reconcile th General Ledger and financial records.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Conduct bank, POS, cash, and other account reconciliations.
• Review revenue, expenses, receivables, payables, and inventory records.
• Ensure accurate recording and classification of financial transactions.
• Review existing accounting processes and identify gaps or control weaknesses.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
• Review tax compliance, filings, and other statutory accounting obligations.
• Assist with audit preparation and respond to audit requirements.
• Review cash handling and financial control procedures.
• Provide recommendations for improving accounting processes and internal controls.
• Work closely with management to provide accurate financial information for decision-making.
• Complete any outstanding accounting schedules, reconciliations, and reports within the contract period.

• Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is an advantage.
• Minimum of 6 years’ relevant accounting experience, preferably in a senior accounting role.
• The successful candidate will be expected to commence work promptly and deliver agreed accounting and reporting objectives.
