With your recent focus on strengthening procurement controls, the Cost Controller can be especially valuable as a control function independent of Procurement.

• ERP - SAP, Oracle, Dynamics or similar
• Advanced Excel; Power BI or similar analytical tools 
• Vendor-price analysis, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, contract/commercial review and total-cost analysis
• Purchase-to-pay controls, PO compliance, approval matrices, three-way matching, budget controls and audit trails.
• Independent, skeptical, detail-oriented, disciplined and comfortable challenging senior colleagues.
• Strong ability to explain cost overruns and commercial issues clearly to non-finance managers.
  Educational Requirements.
• Bsc.  Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• Professional qualification ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent are highly desirable.
