A reputable logistics company is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee its operations and warehouse functions.

• Oversee the company’s day-to-day logistics and warehouse operations.
• Manage operations across all warehouses and operational locations.
• Ensure efficient receiving, storage, inventory management, loading, dispatch, and delivery of goods.
• Supervise and coordinate warehouse and operations personnel.
• Monitor operational KPIs and ensure performance targets are achieved.
• Ensure proper documentation, inventory reconciliation, and accountability for customers’ goods.
• Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions and cost-saving measures.
• Handle operational issues, delays, losses, damages, and discrepancies.
• Prepare regular operational reports for Management.
• Develop and implement effective operational policies and procedures.
• Work closely with HR on staffing, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety and operational standards.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, or supply chain company. 
• Previous experience in a senior management/operations role. 
• Strong knowledge of logistics operations and warehouse management.
• Proven experience managing operations and warehouse teams.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of inventory control, distribution, cost management, and operational efficiency.
• Ability to monitor KPIs, prepare operational reports, and drive process improvements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational priorities.
• HND/Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transport Management, or a related field is preferred.
