You will make sure our projects are scoped properly, documented well, and delivered on time, and that the engine behind them (hiring, processes, tools) runs smoothly. You will coordinate the delivery team from day one; direct reports will be added as the company grows.
You do not need to write production code, but you must understand software and data projects well enough to write requirements, evaluate results, brainstorm, and review what the engineering team delivers.

● Lead discovery with clients: analyse their business processes and problems, and translate them into functional and technical requirements. 
● Write requirements documents, process flows, specifications, and user stories that engineers can build from. 
● Support scoping: effort estimates, statements of work, and assessing change requests so that scope changes are controlled and priced.
● Own technical recruitment end-to-end: define role requirements, run the process, interview alongside the team, and close hires. 
● Run onboarding and offboarding.

● 5+ years working on technology projects, including at least 2 in a delivery, systems analysis, business analysis or technical project management role. 
● You have written requirements documents, specifications, or user stories that engineering teams built from. 
● Direct experience managing clients or stakeholders on technical projects. 
● Experience coordinating engineers, analysts or other technical staff.
