• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and assess patients’ visual health.
• Diagnose and manage common vision problems within the scope of optometric practice.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and recommend appropriate vision care solutions.
• Identify potential eye conditions and refer patients for further specialist care when necessary.
• Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and proper use of prescribed eyewear.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Work collaboratively with other clinical and optical team members.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and clinical procedures.

• Bachelor of Optometry (OD or recognised equivalent qualification).
• Current registration and valid practising licence with the relevant Nigerian regulatory body.
• Relevant clinical experience is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
• Strong attention to detail and professional ethics.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and maintain accurate clinical records.
