We are seeking a Relationship Officer to drive customer acquisition, deposit mobilisation, loan sales and recovery while managing customer relationships and supporting the bank’s transition to digital banking.

• Acquire new retail and SME customers within assigned areas\
• Meet targets for new accounts, deposits and loan disbursements
• Build and manage a strong customer/prospect pipeline
• Conduct customer visits and support business development activities
• Source and assess loan applicants and prepare credit applications
• Follow up and recover overdue/outstanding loans
• Negotiate repayment plans and maintain accurate recovery records
• Manage customer relationships and cross-sell banking products
• Onboard customers onto mobile app, USSD and other digital channels
• Support KYC, AML and other compliance requirements
• Maintain accurate customer records and submit regular sales/recovery reports

• Bachelor's Degree/HND in Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, IT or a related field
• 2-4 years’ experience in relationship management, sales, credit or loan recovery within a bank, MFB, fintech or digital lending company
• Proven experience in loan recovery and customer acquisition
• Strong sales, negotiation and relationship management skills
• Good understanding of credit assessment, loan monitoring, KYC and AML
• Comfortable with fieldwork and meeting monthly targets
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM and digital banking platforms
• Experience working with traders, SMEs or retail customers is an advantage
• Knowledge of the Alausa/Ikeja axis is an advantage
• Fluency in Yoruba, Pidgin or other local languages is a plus
• CIBN, Microfinance or relevant certification is an added advantage

You should be target-driven, resilient, customer-focused and comfortable combining field sales with loan recovery.
