Our client, a premium restaurant in Lekki, is seeking an experienced and creative *Sous Chef* to support the Head Chef and oversee daily kitchen operations.

• Support the Head Chef in leading and managing all kitchen operations
• Assist in developing, executing, and maintaining high-quality intercontinental menus and specials
• Supervise kitchen staff in the absence of the Head Chef and ensure smooth daily operations
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portioning, and presentation
• Assist with food costing, inventory, procurement, and control of kitchen supplies
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
• Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP)
• Minimise food wastage and ensure kitchen efficiency

Must be proficient in intercontinental cuisine including:
Beef Tenderloin/Steak, Grilled/Seared Salmon, Lobster Thermidor, Seafood Risotto, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Chicken Piccata, Lasagna, Spaghetti Bolognese, Beef Stroganoff, Paella, Fish & Chips, Caesar & Caprese Salads, Gourmet Burgers, etc.

• Minimum HND/BSc in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Catering, Food Production, or related field
• Professional culinary certification is an added advantage
• Proven experience as Sous Chef / Senior Chef de Partie in a reputable restaurant/hotel
• Strong culinary skills, leadership ability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
