Job Description
The Corporate Finance Manager – Fundraising & Treasury will lead the Group’s fundraising, treasury, debt management, liquidity, and financing execution activities. The role is responsible for securing competitive debt and equity funding, managing the Group’s liquidity position, optimizing the cost and structure of capital, coordinating financing transactions, and ensuring compliance with all lender and financing obligations. The successful candidate will work closely with Executive Management, Finance, Accounts, Strategy, Legal, project teams, banks, DFIs, pension funds, rating agencies, and other financial institutions to ensure that the Group and its projects have timely access to appropriate funding.

Responsibilities
- Fundraising & Capital Planning: Develop and execute debt, equity, refinancing, bridge and project finance strategies; secure funding from banks, DFIs and other financial institutions while advising on optimal capital structure and financing costs.
- Treasury, Liquidity, & Cash Management: Lead cash-flow forecasting, liquidity planning, debt drawdowns, repayments and rollovers while managing interest-rate, FX and refinancing risks.
- Debt Management & Lender Relations: Manage the Group’s loan portfolio and lender relationships; negotiate financing terms, interest rates, tenors, security arrangements and covenants.
- Financial Modelling & Analysis: Develop and review financial models covering project cash flows, debt, capex, working capital, DSCR, returns and scenario analysis to support financing decisions.
- Financing Execution, Reporting & Governance: Coordinate financing transactions, due diligence, term sheets and documentation; ensure financing conditions and covenants are met and provide regular Management and Board reports.
- Stakeholder Management & Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with Executive Management, Finance, Strategy, Legal and Project teams, while managing engagements with lenders, investors, rating agencies and other financial institutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- MBA, Master’s degree in Finance, or related field is an added advantage.
- ACA, ACCA, CFA, or other relevant professional qualification is strongly preferred.
- 8–10+ years’ progressive experience in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Financial Advisory, Private Equity, Commercial Finance, Treasury, Investor Relations, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in debt fundraising, treasury management, refinancing, project finance, structured finance, lender negotiations, and financial modelling.
Candidates with current or previous experience with a Big Four firm (Deloitte, PwC, EY or KPMG) are particularly encouraged to apply.
