This summer, I’m running a free virtual Mathematics & Coding Bootcamp for students aged 6–16, bringing together young learners to explore real-world problems through mathematics, coding, and science. For one week, students will move beyond tutorials and create projects inspired by the work of researchers and engineers: - Explorers (ages 6–9): Building an interactive Scratch game with mathematical ideas woven into the gameplay. - Builders (ages 10–13): Using Python to analyze water safety data and investigate what makes water unsafe. - Scholars (ages 14–16): Developing a mathematical epidemic model in Python and writing a policy recommendation based on their findings. To support these students as they explore, I’m looking for undergraduate teaching assistants who can encourage curiosity, answer questions, and help students overcome challenges

What you’ll do: - Join us on Zoom for 1.5 hours daily (August 17–21) - Support students as they build their projects - Help them debug, think through problems, and stay confident when they get stuck - Encourage young learners who may be writing their first lines of code - You do not need to be an expert. If you can write basic Python, use Scratch, or explain technical ideas patiently to beginners, you can make a meaningful impact.
