We are looking for a commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to take ownership of cost and commercial management across exciting residential development projects.

• Preparing BOQs, cost plans and detailed project take-offs
• Managing trade package procurement and subcontractor negotiations
• Conducting site valuations and assessing variations
• Preparing monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs)
• Tracking project costs and identifying opportunities to improve margins
• Managing subcontractor final accounts
• Supporting project budgets, cash-flow forecasts and cost control
• Managing commercial risks, contracts and claims
• Working closely with Construction, Design, Land and Sales teams
• Developing towards broader multi-project Commercial Management responsibility

• 5+ years’ Quantity Surveying experience
• Strong residential construction/development experience
• Excellent BOQ, measurement, take-off and cost-control skills
• Strong knowledge of building contracts and commercial administration
• Experience with subcontractor procurement and negotiation
• Strong financial and commercial analytical skills
• Proficiency in quantity surveying/estimation software
• Construction ERP experience is an advantage
• Professional accreditation is highly advantageous
