Are you a seasoned Structural Steel Fabrication Engineer with strong hands-on experience leading fabrication operations, production teams, and quality control? We are supporting a leading industrial group with significant operations in Tanzania in the search for a senior engineering professional to lead the technical and operational performance of its structural steel fabrication facility.

What You’ll Be Driving Oversee end-to-end structural steel fabrication & production Translate engineering drawings and BOMs into efficient fabrication plans Lead cutting, welding, assembly, drilling, bending & surface treatment Drive QA/QC, NDT, welding compliance and technical standards Supervise welders, fitters and fabrication teams Manage plant equipment, materials, inventory and logistics Champion HSE, productivity, quality and on-time delivery Resolve technical and shop-floor challenges quickly

What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Structural, Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering 10+ years in structural steel fabrication, manufacturing or machine-shop environments Strong experience with Tekla Structures, AutoCAD or similar Practical knowledge of AWS D1.1, AISC or EN 1090 Experience managing fabrication teams and production operations CWI or CSWIP certification is a strong advantage If you’re ready to take ownership of a high-impact fabrication operation and deliver engineering excellence, operational efficiency and world-class quality, we’d like to hear from you.
