• Monitoring daily branch operations to ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Conducting regular and surprise cash counts, verifying vault and teller balances, and ensuring compliance with approved cash retention limits.
• Reviewing transactions, account opening documents, loan documentation, and approvals for accuracy and compliance.
• Identifying, investigating, and promptly reporting operational irregularities, fraud, and control breaches.
• Monitoring compliance with CBN, NDIC, AML/CFT, KYC, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Reviewing branch reconciliations, exception reports, suspense accounts, and unresolved transactions to ensure timely resolution.
• Safeguarding the Bank’s assets through periodic inspections, fixed asset verification, and monitoring of security and custody procedures.
• Assessing operational risks, recommending corrective actions, and following up on the implementation of audit and control recommendations.
• Preparing timely internal control, compliance, exception, fraud, and risk management reports for Management.
• Promoting a strong control culture by advising branch staff on internal control practices, ethical conduct, and compliance with Bank policies and procedures.

• B.Sc/HND in Accounting.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience, preferably in an audit firm.
• ACA/ACCA or Part-Qualified status.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, audit procedures, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Good analytical, reporting, communication, and investigative skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Must be technologically sound

DavoDani Microfinance Bank Lagos is a product of the buy-over of a defunct unit MFB incorporated in 2008. In 2014, new owners led by Prince Austin Enajemo-Isire acquired the unit-licensed MFB and changed the name to DavoDani Microfinance Bank Limited Lagos and continued as a unit MFB. After a process of rebirth, turnaround, and recapitalization, the bank grew its depleted operating capital of N5.4m due to losses at the time of acquisition, to N100m in 2015.
