We are seeking a competent and experienced Civil Engineer to support the planning, engineering design, construction supervision, project management, and quality control of civil and structural works across our oil and gas facilities and other civil infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will oversee construction activities, ensure compliance with approved engineering designs and specifications, maintain quality standards, and ensure that all civil engineering works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.

• Plan, design, and supervise civil and structural construction works for oil and gas facilities.
• Supervise the construction of foundations, concrete structures, equipment bases, roads, drainage systems, retaining structures, jetties, and other infrastructure.
• Monitor construction progress, workmanship, and materials to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Ensure that construction activities comply with applicable engineering standards, technical specifications, and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements.
• Participate in geotechnical investigations and interpret soil investigation reports.
• Ensure all civil engineering activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved project requirements.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare material estimates to support project planning and cost management.
• Monitor concrete works, reinforcement installation, earthworks, piling, soil improvement, and foundation construction.
• Identify construction challenges and recommend appropriate technical solutions to maintain quality and project timelines.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure effective execution of civil and structural works.

• Bachelor's degree (B.Eng./B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution.
• A Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
• Membership of a recognised engineering professional association in Nigeria, such as the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), is required.
• Minimum of 7 years' relevant professional experience, particularly in oil and gas facilities construction.
• Experience in rig foundation and cellar construction will be an added advantage.
• Sound knowledge of civil and structural construction methods, foundation works, concrete technology, and construction quality control.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and geotechnical investigation reports.
• Experience in quantity take-offs, material estimation, and construction progress monitoring.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to HSE standards, quality assurance, and professional engineering practices.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and manage site-based construction activities.
