Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Financial Controller to join our team and provide strategic financial leadership across the Group.

Responsibilities

  • Provide forward-looking financial analysis to support strategic planning, business expansion,   and investment decisions across the Group and its subsidiaries.
  • Integrate financial and operational data from CNG, manufacturing, transport, payment operations, and other business units to provide a unified view of Group performance.
  • Identify and drive synergies across business units, including opportunities for cost optimisation across gas supply, production, logistics, and station operations.
  • Support the Group MD/CEO and other key stakeholders in evaluating new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and government-related contracts.
  • Lead financial modelling, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis for key projects, investments, and business initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment between financial objectives and the Group’s overall corporate strategy and long-term growth objectives.
  • Act as a strategic bridge between Finance and Operations, ensuring financial discipline is embedded in day-to-day business decision-making.
  • Lead and manage the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
  • Oversee performance analysis and management reporting, providing actionable financial insights to management.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for all Group entities.
  • Consolidate financial reports across business units and present financial performance, trends, and insights to the Group MD/CEO.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of financial reports.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, liquidity, and overall financial health across the Group.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal financial policies.
  • Provide financial guidance to business unit heads and support effective cost and resource management.
  • Strengthen financial controls, risk management processes, and reporting systems across the Group.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • ACA or ACCA, CITN certification is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 8–12 years of progressive experience in Finance, with at least 3–5 years in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the Energy, Oil & Gas, CNG, Manufacturing, Logistics, or related sectors.
  • Membership or affiliation with other relevant professional bodies will be an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, audit, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in accounting and financial management software; experience with Odoo is highly desirable.
  • Experience working across multiple business units or subsidiaries will be an advantage.

  • Effective fund, cash flow, and liquidity management skills.
  • Sound knowledge of tax and audit administration.
  • Experience in fixed asset and inventory management.
  • Strong vendor and supplier management skills.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, growing, and multi-business environment.
