The Junior Accountant will support the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely reconciliations, and strong documentation practices across our health facility network. This role reports to the Finance Manager and works closely with the CEO on select financial matters.

• Ensure prompt reconciliation of bank statements, cashbooks, and other financial records
• Ensure all invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and accounts documents are properly scrutinized by appropriate authority
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing required records and supporting documents
• Support the preparation of budgets, expense reports, and company financial analysis
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information relating to our services
• Handle internal reconciliation routines (e.g., POS reconciliation, transfer confirmations, and facility-level financial confirmations) as assigned
• Support harmonized record-keeping of overhead expenses for financial preparation
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the Finance Manager and Managing Director.

• HND/BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting/bookkeeping experience
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
