• Conduct patient consultations, medical assessments, and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with established clinical guidelines.
• Request and interpret relevant laboratory and diagnostic investigations.
• Provide prompt care and initial management of medical emergencies.
• Participate in ward rounds, on-call duties, and other clinical assignments.
• Refer patients to specialists or consultants when necessary.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient medical records.
• Work closely with nurses, consultants, laboratory personnel, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide appropriate patient education and counselling.
• Participate in clinical meetings, audits, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, professional ethics, and patient-safety standards.

• MBBS/MBChB from a recognized institution.
• Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
• Valid and current MDCN Practicing License.
• Completion of NYSC or possession of an exemption certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years post-NYSC clinical experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
