A reputable Microfinance Bank (MFB) is seeking to employ a smart and result-driven Recovery Officer to join its team and support effective loan recovery, portfolio monitoring, and management of delinquent accounts.

• Monitor assigned loan portfolios and identify overdue and delinquent accounts.
• Contact customers through calls, visits, and other approved channels to facilitate repayment.
• Follow up on repayment commitments and ensure agreed payment plans are honoured.
• Conduct field visits to delinquent customers and guarantors where required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date recovery records and reports.
• Escalate difficult, high-risk, or long-outstanding accounts for appropriate action.
• Work closely with the Credit, Business Development, and Legal teams on recovery activities.
• Ensure all recovery activities comply with the Bank's policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

• 2–3 years' relevant experience in loan recovery/collections, preferably in a Microfinance Bank (MFB) or Microfinance Institution (MFI).
• HND, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent qualification.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and customer engagement skills.
• Ability to conduct field recovery visits and work with recovery targets.
• Good knowledge of loan recovery and collections processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet assigned recovery targets.
• Strong integrity, diligence, and attention to detail.
