The role focuses on logical reasoning, critical thinking, problem-solving and cognitive development rather than conventional secondary-school subject teaching.

• Deliver specialised cognitive-skills and student-development programmes.
• Facilitate logical reasoning, critical-thinking and problem-solving activities.
• Explain concepts clearly and make learning engaging and practical.
• Prepare for lessons using approved curriculum and instructional materials.
• Administer exercises, classwork, tests and specialised assessments.
• Mark classwork and assessment scripts accurately and promptly.
• Monitor students’ participation, understanding and learning progress.
• Maintain accurate attendance, assessment and performance records.

• NCE, HND or Bachelor’s degree in Education or another relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ teaching, tutoring or learning-facilitation experience.
• Experience working with secondary school students.
• Strong classroom-management and student-engagement skills.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and simplify complex ideas.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Good assessment, record-keeping and organisational ability.
• Smart, energetic, approachable, proactive and willing to learn.
