The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the Company's day-to-day operational activities, ensuring that projects, field teams, logistics, resources, and internal processes are effectively managed to achieve operational and business objectives.

The ideal candidate should have proven experience in Renewable Energy, Solar Energy, Electrical Engineering, Construction, Engineering Services, or a related technical industry, with strong leadership, project coordination, problem-solving, and operational management capabilities.

The successful candidate will work closely with Management, Project Managers, Technical Teams, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and other departments to ensure projects and operational activities are delivered efficiently, safely, within budget, and according to the Company's quality standards.

Project Operations: Monitor the operational execution of solar, electrical, and renewable energy projects from mobilization through completion. Ensure projects remain on schedule and required resources are available.

Team Management: Supervise and coordinate Project Managers, Solar/Electrical Technicians, Field Engineers, Logistics Officers, and other operational personnel. Allocate manpower according to project requirements.

Project Monitoring: Track project progress, identify delays or operational challenges, and ensure timely corrective action. Provide regular operational updates to Management.

Procurement Coordination: Work with Procurement and Management to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of project materials, equipment, and consumables.

Logistics: Coordinate transportation, deployment of personnel, movement of materials and equipment, accommodation, site access, and other field logistics.

Technical Coordination: Work with the Technical Manager and engineering teams to resolve technical and operational challenges affecting project execution.

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Project Management, Operations Management or a related technical discipline.
• 3–6 years of relevant professional experience, preferably with significant experience in renewable energy, solar, electrical, construction, engineering services, or a related industry.
• Previous experience in an Operations Manager, Operations Lead, Project Manager, Engineering Manager, or similar leadership position is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing field teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
• A valid driver's license and ability to drive is strongly preferred due to the field-based nature of the role and ability to travel to project sites as required.  
• Flexibility to respond to changing operational requirements.
• Willingness to take ownership of operational responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with Management. 
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize competing demands, and meet project deadlines.
